Mission

Mosaic Hockey Collective focuses on building an inclusive hockey community that empowers players of color with skills, resources, and positive experiences to grow and give back to the game.​

As of December 2024, Mosaic Hockey Collective is a 501(c)(3) organization. We support players from underrepresented backgrounds ranging in age from 5 through 18. Currently, over 250 players from 50+ communities in and around theTwin Cities area participate in Mosaic.

Mō-ˈzā-ik Definition

The mix of ethnic groups, languages and cultures that coexist within society. The idea of a cultural mosaic is intended to suggest a form of multiculturalism, different from other systems such as a melting pot often used to describe assimilation.
